Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between digital transformation and achieving sustainable competitive advantage in contemporary organizations, in light of the rapid transformations witnessed by the digital economy. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing relevant management literature on digital transformation, competitive advantage, and dynamic capabilities, and analyzing the dimensions of their integration. The research addressed the conceptual framework of digital transformation as a comprehensive strategic orientation that transcends mere technological use to encompass the reshaping of business models, processes, and organizational structures. It also presented the theoretical foundations of sustainable competitive advantage in light of contemporary strategic thought, demonstrating that sustainability is linked to possessing resources and capabilities that are difficult to imitate or replace.

The research concluded that digital transformation contributes to enhancing operational efficiency, stimulating innovation, improving customer experience, and increasing market value, thereby building a long-term competitive advantage. It also emphasized that digitalization does not automatically achieve sustainability, but rather is realized when integrated within a comprehensive strategic vision supported by conscious leadership and a flexible organizational culture. The research recommends that business organizations adopt a clear strategic framework for digital transformation that links technological investment with the development of sustainable organizational capabilities.
