The Developmental Impacts of Investment and Ways to Activate its Role in the Iraqi Economy: Reality and Proposals

Abstract

Investment has its importance in the local economy, and therefore its function deserves study and analysis before choosing the investment opportunity to invest the available funds allocated for it, because failure or failure to choose the investment project will have negative repercussions on the local economy. Therefore, analytical studies of the development indicators of the investment environment are conducted before Initiating investment, especially in countries with a need for investment, including Iraq, in the hope that this will reflect positively on economic and social growth in its various components. This research deals with an analysis of total investment that shows the developmental effects and ways to benefit from it in Iraq.
