Abstract
The research aims to identify the level of academic freedom areas most practiced by physical education and sports science teachers at the University of Mosul. The descriptive approach was used in the survey method., and the research sample includes teachers of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, numbering (144) instructors distributed over three main branches, which are the Sports Sciences Branch, the Team Games Branch, the Individual Games Branch, and the Student Activities Department. A questionnaire for academic freedom at the university will be designed and its validity and reliability verified. It will initially include four main areas: decision-making, freedom of expression, scientific research, and teaching, In data analysis, the arithmetic mean and percentage will be used.
